Play with CD

Never hesitate to experiment with your subject using whatever light enhancer available. For this random shoot, we tried to play with water droplets + cd + injection to bring out some interesting colors. =)

These are my portrait shots of my childhood friend, Mar. She didn't want to be photographed at first but after a couple of persuasion she gave in. I think the Petroleum jelly did the trick! I told her that I would only use a little golden brown eye shadow and smudge it with petroleum jelly to achieve what they call the "naked-makeup". Huwwalllaa! The results were stunning!

One of my early shoots with my friend Yas. She's definitely one of my favorite subjects. Her eyes are just stunning and her angelic features can adopt to any look. I will post more of our photo sessions with her. Anyway, the concept for the shoot was pretty simple. We only used the window light to achieve the drama I was aiming for. I also want to do this shoot again! =)Tip: Window lights can be used to either illuminate your subject or cast shadows dramatically.

Sea Nymph

This photoshoot with Mica Callanta belongs to the "i-want-to-shoot-it-again" category. She and her friend hired us to take some beauty shots for their modeling portfolio. I remember we had no time to really plan for the shoot nor scout for a perfect location. So we thought of a place where the landscape is beautiful and is guaranteed model friendly. hehehe Baywalk Sea-port area it was! Unfortunately, this shoot would be my last memory of that place =( Manila Ocean Park is now located where the used to be melancholic sea port was standing. Farewell forever.

Weee! Hello everyone, this is our first official blog entry post as filterpan! We're excited to fill this up with tons of pictures so we're really working double time to get everything done before July. =)

I'd like to share our concept for our marketing website and the reason why we decided to host it with multiply.com
Our official website is www.filterpan.multiply.com
We thought of hosting our own website but when we saw multiply's large marketing reach (through the success of our online store: www.theonlyukayqueen.multiply.com) we decided to take advantage of it! =)

FILTER- a colored piece of glass or other transparent material used over the lens to emphasize, eliminate or change the color or density of the entire scene or certain areas with the scene.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. - 1 John 2:15-17

PAN - moving the camera so that the image of a moving object remains in the same relative position in the viewfinder as you take a picture.

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; - Proverbs 4:20-23
